Over the years I have worked mostly on web application interfaces than websites. But Hey! once in a while its quite a refreshing break. A website gives more freedom in terms of graphics and overall look and feel. Of course, its just not that; it takes time, a lot of data gathering from the client, a good information architecture and be sure to throw in some good number of iterative design cycles to finally arrive at a good design.
